GameOn - Steam Summer 2011 Day 4

Official Site: http://store.steampowered.com/
 [Today's Deals]
-Dragon's Age 2: $35.99 - I've done a GameLight of this game before.  The PC version is more of a top-down feel like Dungeon Siege 2 while the console version feels more like a Hack-n-Slash.  They're both exactly the same games, but they feel very different.  As much as I liked this game, I'm going to hold out and get it for PS3.
-Torchlight: $2.99 - If you're one of the gamers waiting for Diablo 3 to come out, get this game to fill in the time.  It's single player only, but it has very similar gameplay in that it's a top-down point-n-click RPG.  It's a fun game, but I don't play it enough to have beaten it yet.  I really should...
-Assassin's Creed Franchise Sale - A mix between stealth and action, the Assassin's Creed series has evolved quite a lot from what I've heard.  Brotherhood has some of the best gameplay elements along with multiplayer from what I heard.  Mmm, so tempting...
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: $19.99 - Only get this for the single-player, because the community for multiplayer is dead.  I can't even get into a game anymore because of how unpopulated multiplayer is now, so sad.  CoD: MW2 is a Tactical First-Person Shooter.
-Kane & Lynch 2: $4.99 - I'm very tempted to get this for just $4.99, but I heard it wasn't that great of a game and is more focused on a two-player co-op game mechanic.  I don't know anyone who would be willing to get this game either, sooooo I'm probably going to pass.  K&L2 is a 3rd-Person Shooter.
-Sniper: Ghost Warrior: $4.99 - I tried this game, and it was horribly optimized for the computer.  Considering your computer is strong enough, the gameplay revolves around a lot of linear tasks.  You sneak around, kill a few guys once in a while, and then at some point you snipe someone and then run away.  I probably didn't play enough of the game, but I gave up after the first mission.  Sniper is a first-person shooter/stealth game.
-Two Worlds 2: $17.00 - I tried this at E3 2010 and I honestly didn't like it as much.  It's a 3rd-person action RPG, but each attack had a cool-down which made the action part of the game really slow.  From what I've read online, TW2 is a huge improvement over its predecessor which I saw at Target for about $5-$10.  I'll eventually give this game a chance later on.  I'm not willing to dish out $17 for a game I might not like.
-Transformers: War for Cybertron: $7.49 - I'm very curious about this game and would like to play through it, even though I'm not a huge fan of Transformers (I did like the animated series though).  I'm afraid that the multiplayer community is probably dead, but $7.49 for a single-player experience isn't too bad (wish it was $4.99, but beggars can't be choosers).  Maybe I'll get it...

[Steam Achievements - Daily Missions]
ARGH, I don't have most of the games for the daily missions, only Iron Grip: Warlord...
-Defense Grid: The Awakening: Beat all 5 'Out of Bullets' Challenge modes without using Gun or Cannon towers - I already test through enough tower defense games for work, I don't think I'd be interested unless there's a twist like with DotA, Monday Night Combat, or Land of Chaos Online.
-Men of War: Assault Squad: Complete the Steam summer sale bonus mission - Oh, so I guess it's a special mission just for the occasion rather than having to do something in-game.
-Flight Control HD:  Open all umbrellas simultaneously on the Stunt airfield - I don't have the game, but that sounds hard.
-The Polynomial: Space of the Music: Use the Sun to Kill an Enemy - The game honestly wasn't that fun and had little to do with music other than seeing lights inside the game flash in rhythm.  It didn't affect the gameplay at all.  There's a demo for you to try if you want to see for yourself before you buy.
-A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda: Trick a Bomber to hit and destroy a Zytron Walker (LA) - I wonder if I should get this game.  I don't like it as much as old classic games as it tries to imitate, but it was kind of interesting.  It's $4.99 at the moment.  The achievement sounds easy enough.
-Iron Grip: Warlords: Purchase every available weapon and upgrade - I've had this game for about 2 years now, and I have to say that this might be a bit difficult to do.  Mainly because the game usually ends too quickly (win or lose) to be able to buy everything possible.  I'll still try it out, I haven't played the game in a while.
-Write home: Recommend a game to your friends - Easy!  Just choose a game and then write a recommendation for it.

Day 4, I'm probably going to be spending the most today...
