I didn't expect the beta for the new Steam profile update to be completed so quickly and get right into the real thing. Starting next week, on June 26th, everyone will have an updated profile page and the ability to receive collectible cards that can be crafted into badges and offer prizes. The beta started just a month ago and showcased features such as a leveling system, collectible cards and badges, a new profile page look, and prizes that can be won through crafting cards into badges. On the very last line of the announcement is a vague hint:
"Making trading cards available to all Steam users is a step towards an event we think everyone can be excited about..."
Could it be? Is it...Steam Summer Sales???
