With the Steam Sales over (Publisher Packs still available), we can get back to our regular program. Just very recently, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for the Nintendo 3DS was announced. It's going to be a Music Rhythm Action Game where you fight monster by tapping to the music on beat. The game will probably be similar to Rhythm Tengoku and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!/Elite Beat Agents in that the taps and swiping will be done on the touch screen while the animation will be shown on the 3D Top Screen. The music will be remixed versions of past Final Fantasy game tunes such as the prelude theme shown above. I saw some screenshots and I'm not really liking the art style too much, but I am very curious about the the concept and gameplay and will probably be compelled to buy the game just because it's Final Fantasy.
